Terms and conditions karpet GmbH
A Shyrdak is handmade and a natural product, irregularities and inaccuracies in colour, material and masses may occur. For all products in the karpet antique-line minor defects such as stains, moth holes or missing cords (we refer here to the right of return without giving reasons) can occur. karpet makes every effort to present the products on the site as realistic as possible. Since the display depends on the computer equipment, variations may occur from the original product. It is possible to inspect the products by appointment.
Order:
karpet GmbH takes orders by e-mail, mail or telephone. By submitting the order the purchaser accepts the terms and conditions shown on the website. All products are sold subject to availability, if desired goods are unavailable the customer will be notified immediately. It is possible that as a result of the delay between the acceptance of an order and processing the order, karpet GmbH is not in a position to execute the order. Payments already made will be refunded in this case.
Prices:
All prices are exclusive of VAT or sales tax. Prices are subject to change at any time and without prior notice. Wholesalers are required to pay 50% of the invoice upon placing their order and the remaining 50% within 30 days of receiving the goods. Retail customers are required to pay the full purchase amount in advance. karpet GmbH ships the items upon receipt of these payments. Ownership of the purchased item will remain at karpet GmbH until full payment of the goods is received by karpet GmbH.
Shipping:
Wherever possible, the least expensive shipping options will be used. Calculation of freight, customs and insurance costs are dependent on the weight and value of the order. These charges will be itemised and shown on the invoice, and can be requested from karpet GmbH.
Within Switzerland: karpet GmbH organises shipment and will charge this amount plus VAT to the purchaser.
Delivery to Europe: karpet GmbH organises and handles the shipping and customs administration, transport costs, commercial invoice and fuel surcharges, which are then billed to the buyer by karpet GmbH. Customs duties and VAT are paid directly by the buyer to the courier company.
Return:
All purchased items may be returned for a full refund without giving reason by advising karpet GmbH within 5 working days of receipt of goods. If returned within the 5 day period for a full refund, the cost of return transport will be the responsibility of the purchaser. All purchased items must be inspected immediately upon receipt and the right of return expires strictly after the 5 day period. After inspecting returned items for condition and completeness, the entire amount of purchase will be refunded to the buyer. Within Switzerland: The buyer is responsible for arranging the return of products purchased.
European returns outside Switzerland: The buyer can arrange shipping for the return or ask karpet GmbH to arrange it on their behalf, all expenses for return shipping excluding VAT will be charged by karpet GmbH to the buyer. karpet GmbH reserves the right to deduct return shipping costs from the amount paid for purchase of product/s.
Benefits and harms go with the contract (ie, confirming the order) to the buyer. Furthermore, the provisions of Article 201 OR apply.
The jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland. karpet GmbH is entitled within the meaning of a choice, the customer at his/her residence/office to justice. The contract shall be governed by Swiss law.
